Timeline of Events:


In the fall, you will be asked to apply by your school's faculty adviser and presented with the formal application or you may download and print it below. This package will contain all the information that you will need to properly apply and hopefully win the grant.

Applications will reviewed and final candidates will be notified. At times, some applications will be required to fill out additional questions and asked to resubmit.

Final selection will be made by the Grant Committee - the Grant will then be presented to the person or group that exceeds the true intent of the Foundation.

The Grant award is explicit funding to implement your idea and project, not tuition or expenses associated with high school or university.

The Application

 

Part 1:

  • Physical Paper Application. Information about you and your concept with a 150 word or less description about what you hope to achieve with your project.

 

Part 2:

  • Video of you and/or the team applying for the grant. Explain and show the committee what you are hoping to accomplish, why you feel this project is worthwhile, and present an emotional case. Be insightful. Consider how the final idea will impact the community around you as well as the world.

Tips for a Successful Application

  • Be crafty in how you approach the formal (3-4) minute application video.

  • Ask for help! Reach out to the Foundation, or faculty at your school.
